Tom has a busy corporate event and public speaking career catering for private and corporate events. He is recommended by top speakers bureaus such as Speakers Corner
He works closely and regularly with many of the most established names in the industry, has a strong peer group and network within the trade and trade media and continues to undertake highly-considered drinks trade consultancy roles with premium brands and restaurants
Alongside his work, Tom is the co-founder of the not-for-profit and charitable foundation Table Talk Sussex, which puts chefs in primary schools to teach food education. He was also a founding steering committee member for The Drinks Trust’s The Drinks Community
Tom was shortlisted for the prestigious IWSC Wine Communicator Of The Year award in 2023, having been previously shortlisted for the IWSC Outstanding Achievement In Wine Award in 2019.
In 2020 Tom co-founded the successful challenger drinks agency Glass Half Full, he and the founders secured the initial portfolio of nine exciting brands, including Mirabeau Rosé, Punchy, Sapling Vodka and Pickle House. Tom departed this role in February 2022 to balance his media work, family life and trade work.
Prior to his media work, Tom grew up in the hospitality trade and enjoyed roles in restaurants including the original The Ivy and was the Business Development Director for pioneering English winery Ridgeview for over six years.
